HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE. That what I read just before the trailer finished. As I remember, I said, "WOW!" several times when I saw the trailer. Just in my opinion, the trailer was very exciting, I can't wait to see the movie in the nearest theatres.

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE. Itu yang kubaca sesaat sebelum trailer berakhir. Seingatku, aku sempat mengucapkan, "WAW!" beberapa kali ketika trailer tersebut diputar. Menurutku, trailer tersebut sangat luar biasa. Aku tak tahan untuk menontonnya di bioskop-bioskop terdekat.

The movie will tell the stories about Harry's 4th year in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. This year, Hogwarts will held a once in a hundred years tournament, "The Triwizard Tournament". Three chosen student from three different schools will involved in this tournament, there are just three school and three student has been chosen by the goblet of fire, but then one more name appear, that is Harry. How can this happen? Film ini akan menceritakan kisah tentang tahun ke-4 Harry di Sekolah sihir Hogwarts. Tahun ini, Hogwarts akan menyelenggarakan turnamen yang diadakan setiap seratus tahun sekali, yaitu "Turnament Triwizard". Tiga orang pelajar terpilih dari tiga sekolah yang berbeda akan ambil bagian dalam turnamen ini, hanya ada tiga sekolah dan sudah tiga pelajar dipilih oleh piala api, tapi lalu muncul satu nama lagi, yaitu Harry. Bagaimana ini bisa terjadi?

If you are wondering how much it is cost to produce the movie, just to let you know, GOF produced with budget about 308 million dollars. It is more than any movies ever produced and it hasn't included marketing costs cost yet. N.B.: It is said that Mike Newell (GOF Director) only paid less than 10% of the performer's director, Chris Colombus payment.

Jika kamu bertanya-tanya, berapa banyak dana (bujet) yang dikeluarkan untuk memproduksi film tersebut, hanya supaya pertanyaanmu terjawab, GOF diproduksi dengan dana sekitar 308 juta dollar. Jumlah itu sepertinya lebih dari film manapun yang pernah diproduksi dan itu pun belum termasuk biaya pemasaran. N.B.: Kabarnya Mike Newell (Sutradara GOF) hanya dibayar kurang dari 10% dari yang didapat oleh sutradara dua film pertamanya, Chris Colombus.

If you see the first tabel, you can see that the latest one, no. 18, "Stealth" released this summer. Rob Cohen, the man behind the success of 'The Fast and The Furious" and "XXX" to enter The US's Box Office, is the director. So, for me, he is quite reliable as a profitable director. He is the director of "Stealth" and the movie was loss (based on US and Worldwide gross).

Jika kamu melihat tabel pertama, kamu dapat melihat bahwa film yang terakhir, no. 18, "Stealth" diluncurkan musim panas ini. Rob Cohen, orang di balik kesuksesan "The Fast and The Furious" dan "XXX" untuk menembus Box Office Amerika, adalah sutradaranya. Jadi, menurutku, dia cukup dapat diandalkan sebagai sutradara komersial. Dia adalah sutradara "Stealth" dan film tersebut merugi (berdasarkan US and Worldwide gross).

no. 4 is an estimation (except for the budget).

Based on the approach, the movie probably will not enough success in US market, but its international market will help it. It's only 57% less than average profit of the three movies before. But it's still very valuable of course. (Some movies, even big budget movies, with only it's US Gross, the production cost can be covered).

Berdasarkan pendekatan tersebut, maka film mungkin tidak akan cukup sukses di pasar domestik, tapi peredaran internasionalnya akan menolongnya. Walaupun hanya 57% lebih rendah dari keuntungan rata-rata tiga film sebelumnya, tapi itu tentu saja masih sangat menguntungkan. (Beberapa film, bahkan film yang berbujet besar, pendapatan domestiknya saja dapat menutupi biaya produksinya).

But, that's just an estimation, it may be wrong, I'm still positive thingking about this movie because I think the trailer is very promising and the book has broken many records and become bestselling in many country.

Tapi, itu hanya perkiraan saja, mungkin saja salah. Aku masih tetap berpikir positif karena kupikir trailernya sangat menjanjikan dan bukunya juga sudah memecahkan banyak catatan dan menjadi bestselling di banyak negara.
